These tools are geared toward teachers and students to better enable understanding, efficiency and productivity of curriculum. Computers In The ClassroomAt Seven Hills Charter Public School every classroom is equipped with computers. The number of desktop computers in every classroom ranges from two to six. They contain real world corporate applications such as Microsoft Office which includes Word for word processing, Excel for spreadsheets, Power point for presentations, Publisher for attractive brochures and other documents, and Access for databases. All computers have internet access for student research and more. |
Mobile LabsSeven Hills Charter Public School has created a seamless environment for teaching curriculum that integrates technology. Our mobile labs roll into classrooms with one laptop for every student. These laptops are equipped with wireless Internet capability for easy access to our school network and the Internet. The labs provide mobility and effortless integration of technology into curriculum. |
Smart BoardsA number of classrooms will be equipped with Smart Boards. These Smart Boards enable teachers to create dynamite lesson plans with software applications from a laptop. Images, text, movies, and more can be projected onto the screen with which both teachers and students can then interact. |
Interactive LearningSeven Hills Charter Public School has integrated many tools in a effort to create a dynamite learning environment. One such tool is called Qwizdom. Qwizdom engages students with interactive lessons that include remotes and educational gaming. From one child to a whole class can take part. Pop quizzes, gaming, lesson redirecting and much more is offered. This is just one of many tools that are employed as part of SHCPS's technology integration program. |
